Introduction

Management Information Systems (MIS) are a set of computer systems that contain both software and hardware and act as the backbone of an organization’s operations. Organizations acquire information from a variety of online systems using management information systems. In addition, with the help of this system, the data is analysed, and the results enable the management make better decisions. The use of Management Information Systems aims to improve decision-making by providing up-to-date and relevant data on a variety of assets owned by the organisation, including inventory, personnel, financials, manufacturing, project timelines, marketing, real estate, research and development, and raw materials.
