Definitions of Manpower Planning

 

According to K. F. Turkman manpower planning can be defined as an attempt to match the supply of people with the jobs available in an organization. Statistical techniques have been used to ascertain the supply of people with the jobs available.Bruce Coleman has defined manpower planning as “the process of determining manpower requirements and the means for meeting those requirements in order to carry out the integrated plan of the organization”.
