However, getting artistic merchandising right can feel a mammoth task for most wholesale organisation.The constant development of new products, scarcity of display space allocation and the constant change in consumer preference all add to the challenging environment for visual merchandisers. The dynamic characteristics of the target market is one of the greatest challenges that visual merchandisers face. Ans : Grid layout :

 

A well-planned retail store layout allows a retailer to maximize the sales for each square foot of the allocated selling space within the store. Store layouts generally show the size and location of each department, any permanent structures, fixture locations and customer traffic patterns.
