If you are given the task of distribution network design, explain the process you will follow and the influencing factors you need to consider. Give examples wherever possible.

A distribution network is the chain of interconnected groups that allows an organization to store the goods and then transport them to the buyers. The cost per unit of the component is Rs. 50 and inventory carrying cost is estimated to be Rs.3 per unit per annum. What should be Maxx Industry’s EOQ, and what will be its Total Cost of Inventory.
